Three students have been selected for the SGFI – Himani Rawat of class XII C in VolleyBall (Girls) ; Rajat Pathania of XA in Cricket (U-16) and Divyadarshan of XIIA in Taekwondo (Boys).

On 03-Oct-2007 Essay writing Competition on “Mahatma Gandhi” was conducted by G.P.O. Sec-17, Chandigarh Students from our vidyalaya Master Vidyasagar of VII-D and Miss Surbhi Kalia of X-B bagged first prices in Category-I and Category-II respectively.

Chitvan Khosla is topper in class XII (Humanities Group) in Chandigarh Region securing 90.6% marks & got 5th position in Kendriya Vidyalayas of all over India & awarded by KVS a cash award of Rs. 5000/- with merit certificate.

12 students were selected for KVS national sports meet in the deferent events i.e. Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton , Taewando.

Master Shantanu Dev in Gymnastic, Rupinder Kaur in Taekwando & Poorva Bharti in Shooting have been awarded sports scholarship for Rs. 6600/- each per year by SGFI.

Aditi Singh of class XI B got first position in KVS regional Hindi Kavita Path Pratiyogita at KV-47 on 24/08/07 and was selected for Bi-regional Kavita Path Pratiyogita at KV Jalandher Cantt on 3/9/07 and on 26/9/07 & 27/9/07 in KV-1, Delhi cantt. She was awarded Rs. 1100/- in cash
